Gloria Saikaley – Registered Massage Therapist
Gloria is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario.
Gloria decided to make a career change from corporate administration to massage therapy due to a strong interest in learning about the body and a strong desire to help people who have pain stemming from injuries, muscle weakness or imbalance and from chronic conditions. Having experienced chronic muscular compensatory pain from re-straining an old injury multiple times, and being the recipient of various manual therapies, chiropractic care and physiotherapy, she is very empathetic toward those going through the injury recovery process or dealing with chronic pain.
Her goal in providing massage therapy treatments is to help her clients improve the quality of their life by developing a safe and effective treatment plan based on assessments applicable to each individual’s treatment goals. Whether your goal is eliminating or managing pain, stress management or reduction, improving sleep quality, or simply general relaxation, Gloria looks forward to working with you to achieve your individual treatment goals. She uses a variety of massage techniques in order to achieve results, such as Swedish techniques, myofascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitated stretching (PNF), other proprioceptive techniques and home care exercises.
In order to motivate and empower her clients to maintain or achieve further results post-treatment, she is currently in training as a Plyomax Personal Trainer and is also working on her Canfitpro Personal Trainer certification.
